The problem: one crack and 34 rod holes
This Bloomfield Hills foundation had one vertical crack and 34 rod holes to seal.
What causes them
Rod holes are the tie holes left from when a foundation is poured. They can rust out and let water through. Vertical cracks are common too: concrete shrinks as it cures, and houses settle.
How we fixed it
We injected the vertical crack and all 34 rod holes with high-strength epoxy.
Epoxy is a rigid resin. It bonds the two sides of a dry crack back together, so it’s the material we use when strength matters.

The result
The epoxy stops water from getting through and restores the wall’s structural integrity. The injected crack and all 34 injected rod holes are backed by our 25-year transferable limited warranty.
