Who writes it

The information on this site comes from Imad “Matt” Mansour, the owner of Mansour’s Innovations. Matt has worked in waterproofing, excavation and plumbing for more than 20 years and has run this company since 2014. When a page describes how a job is done, it describes how we do it on our own jobs, with our own crew and equipment.

Matt decides what goes on every page and reviews it before it is published. We use writing tools to help draft and organize pages. The methods, the prices and the local details come from our own work, not from copied articles.

Where the facts come from

• How the work is done: from our own installs – interior and exterior waterproofing, sump systems, crack injection, wall bracing, backwater valves, sewer and water lines, and excavation.
• Prices: the ranges on our pages are typical ranges from our recent jobs in Macomb, Oakland and Wayne counties. They are not quotes. Every job is priced after we see it, the estimate is free, and the price is put in writing before work starts. We update the ranges when our costs change.
• Local facts: when a city page mentions a sewer program, a flooding event, a permit rule or a rebate, it comes from that city’s or county’s own published material, and we say where it came from.
• Codes and permits: we describe what the Michigan Residential Code and local inspectors ask for on the jobs we do. Your city has the final say, and we pull the permits when a job needs one.
• Photos: the job-site and before-and-after photos on this site are from our own work.

What we don’t do

• No paid or sponsored content. No manufacturer pays to be mentioned; we name the products we actually install.
• No claims we can’t back up. We don’t call ourselves the best, and we don’t promise results in percentages. Our warranty is in writing on the Warranty page, and it covers waterproofing work only.
• No made-up reviews. We don’t write or buy reviews; the ones we point to are on our Google Business Profile.

Updates and corrections

Every page shows the date it was last updated at the bottom. If you see something wrong – a price that is out of date, a city rule that changed, a photo on the wrong page – email mansoursinnovations@gmail.com or call (586) 345-7292 and we will fix it.
